on the road as of today! but not too far from home. spent time in LA with one of our oldest friends, julie. was able to take public transit in LA (!) and eat at pure luck (jackfruit!) and visit the bike kitchen to replace my cracked lock nut. spending the night at meghann's before our 8 hour drive to tucson tomorrow. four people + three bikes=lotsa squish.
thanks to everyone who has thus far provided amazing, helpful, awesome advice and ideas for different places and offered to help with places to stay. if nothing else, this has made the trip amazing knowing i have so many awesome friends to help out.
